Built platform · Membership and pharmacy networks
An application is the start of a membership.
A pharmacy-network membership platform for structured applications, linked pharmacy records, staff review, agreements and follow-up.
Project in brief
Who it serves
Independent pharmacy contractors applying to or working with the network, and staff responsible for membership review and administration.
Relationship
Client project · phased delivery
Our role
Platform design and software delivery
Scope
A phased membership platform connecting the public application journey with applicant, company and pharmacy records and an authorised staff review workflow.
The problem
When applications arrive as disconnected forms and email attachments, staff have to reconstruct which person, company and pharmacy a document belongs to and what should happen next. IPCN’s platform gives each application a structured record and a review trail that can continue into membership administration.
The solution
IPCN needed an application journey that could carry on into staff review and membership administration. The platform captures the applicant, organisation and pharmacy together, keeps submitted evidence and decisions with that record, and gives staff clear review and follow-up steps. Delivery is phased; eligibility and membership decisions remain with IPCN staff.

What we built
Public website and CMS
Pages, menus, media, metadata and editorial revisions support a maintained public experience.
Structured applications
Applicant, company and pharmacy information is captured as a coherent submission rather than an unstructured email.
Member records and staff review
Related records, evidence, notes and decisions stay together for authorised staff.
Agreements and payments
Agreement versions and provider-dependent payment steps have explicit states.
Communications and controls
Editable email, role permissions and audit history support follow-up and administration.
How it works
Submit an application
The applicant provides required organisation, person and pharmacy details through the public journey.
Review the record
Authorised staff check evidence and request further information where needed.
Agree and decide
Human approvals and agreement versions are recorded with the application.
Continue membership
Staff carry the same record into administration and follow-up.
What this supports
Complete application context
Keep the applicant, organisation, pharmacy details and submitted evidence associated with one application.
Visible staff review
Give authorised reviewers a place to check information, record a decision and request follow-up.
Continuity after approval
Carry the approved record forward into agreements and membership administration without treating an application as an untracked email.
Intelligence and responsibility
Structured context
The record and workflow provide the context needed for future permitted assistance.
Human accountability
Eligibility, professional review and membership decisions remain with authorised people.
Responsibility and limits
Staff retain responsibility for eligibility and membership approval. Email, company checks and payment steps use the providers configured for the organisation; the supplier portal is a separate scope.
Why this matters
The platform replaces a loose handoff from form to inbox with a reviewable record and clear human ownership from application through follow-up.
