Built platform · Automotive services

From a vehicle question to the right service.

A UK vehicle platform for driver checks, garage discovery and service requests, connected to the workspace that manages enquiries and follow-up.

Project in brief

Who it serves

Drivers looking for vehicle information or a garage, and automotive businesses receiving the resulting service enquiries.

Our role

Product design and software delivery

Scope

A UK driver platform connecting vehicle checks and garage discovery to booking, quotation and follow-up workflows for service businesses.

The problem

Drivers often have to move between vehicle lookups, advice pages and garage listings to work out what to do. Garages receive calls and forms without a consistent record of the vehicle, the requested work or the next action. AutoModu joins those steps into one driver-to-business journey.

The solution

AutoModu links the driver’s vehicle question to the service that can help. A driver can start with vehicle details, a warning or a maintenance need, then find a relevant garage and send a booking or quote request. Garage teams receive the request with its available vehicle and service context, so the next conversation can start in the right place.

What we built

Driver tools

Vehicle information, MOT history, warning-light and diagnostic journeys help a driver start with their actual vehicle.

Garage discovery

Service-provider profiles connect discovery to a booking or request for quotation.

Bookings and business workspace

Enquiries become work that a business can review, quote, arrange and follow up with the customer context intact.

Parts and communications

Parts workflows and connected communications keep service work moving across the business.

Operational intelligence

Analytics and digital roles support investigation and improvement within configured permissions.

How it works

  1. Start with the vehicle

The driver supplies a registration or begins a vehicle tool journey. Relevant vehicle context informs the next step.

  2. Find a service

The journey captures the need and points the driver towards a relevant service route.

  3. Coordinate the work

A booking or quote request enters the business workflow with its customer context.

  4. Confirm and follow up

The business agrees the next step and keeps the communication record.

What this supports

A more useful first enquiry

A request can carry the vehicle and service details already supplied by the driver.

A connected garage response

The business can review the request, respond with a quote or booking option, and keep the follow-up with the same customer record.

One journey across both sides

The public driver experience and garage operations are designed to work together rather than as unrelated forms and listings.

Intelligence and responsibility

Governor

Supervision and operational context across authorised tools, with escalation for decisions outside the role.

Maya

Diagnostic investigation, reproduction and supporting evidence for technical problems.

Ella

Reception and enquiry-routing workflows connected to configured communication and booking tools.

Marketing roles

Content preparation, review and configured publishing workflows with recorded outcomes.

Responsibility and limits

Bookings depend on real availability and confirmation by the service business. Each integration uses the permissions and provider connections configured for that operation.

Why this matters

The useful connection is between the customer journey and the operation that fulfils it: the enquiry context survives each handover.
