Project in brief

Who it serves

Independent garages, mobile mechanics and automotive groups that need to manage new leads, customer care, jobs and repeat business.

Relationship

AutoModu product · connected business workspace

Our role

Product design and software delivery

Scope

A garage SaaS workspace for lead capture, CRM, customer communications and service operations, with review management, campaign tools and supervised digital roles.

The problem

A garage can receive enquiries through its website, phone, email and social channels while tracking jobs and follow-up in separate tools. Staff repeat questions, lose context at handover and struggle to see which work needs attention. The platform brings those customer and operational steps into a shared workspace, with a person responsible for approvals and exceptions.

The solution

AutoModu for Business is the working side of the driver platform. It is designed to help a garage move from a new lead to a clear customer response, a booking or quote, and recorded follow-up. The supplied screens show the CRM, email and call-support workflows, campaign and review tools, and the digital-role controls around them. Mail, telephony, remote assistance, publishing and automation still depend on each business’s configured providers and permissions.

What we built

Lead generation and CRM

Map-based discovery and capture analytics help a garage identify incoming opportunities. Contact records and service conversations keep the available context with the lead and its next action.

Customer care across email and calls

The supplied screens show an email inbox, a call inbox with transcript preview, a reviewable AI draft and human handoff, plus call-queue analytics. Corporate mail, telephony, recording and transcript capture require the business’s provider connections, permissions and customer notices.

Remote help with human control

The support workspace places a customer interaction beside the customer-facing site. Remote access, screen control and visual inspection require a supported integration, explicit customer consent and a staff member who remains in control.

Marketing, campaigns and learning

Social planning, email templates and campaign insights support human-led or AI-assisted outreach. The growth approval view explains proposals using connected market, audience and engagement signals; a person approves, rejects or defers them, then reviews results before the next cycle.

Reviews and reputation

Review activity, moderation and business replies give garage teams a repeatable way to handle public feedback. The interface ratings shown are not independent customer endorsements.

Digital employees and operations

Role profiles, connectors and workflow templates let teams delegate bounded work, review completion and route exceptions. Monitoring, retries and recovery follow configured permissions and approved runbooks.

How it works

  1. Capture the lead

Bring the enquiry into CRM with the contact, vehicle and service details that were provided.

  2. Respond and coordinate

Use the configured email or call channel to clarify the request, prepare a quote or booking, and record the agreed next step.

  3. Resolve with the right support

Review available history and AI suggestions; keep a person in control of customer care, remote access and escalation.

  4. Grow with review

Plan a campaign or social post, check connected audience and market signals, then approve or defer each recommendation.

  5. Delegate and improve

Assign bounded tasks to digital roles, monitor completion and exceptions, and compare later results with explicit feedback.

What this supports

A visible next action

See who owns an enquiry, what response is due and where an exception needs attention.

Customer context at handover

Keep the captured conversation and available service details with the CRM record as the work moves between staff.

Reviewable digital work

Track delegation, approvals and completion without presenting interface snapshots as proven revenue, satisfaction or time savings.

Digital workforce and human oversight

Context with boundaries

Digital roles can keep relevant work context and use only the tools their permissions allow.

Human oversight

People can review, redirect and approve consequential actions.

Plain language about AI

We describe this as context-aware assistance and operational continuity, not machine consciousness.

Responsibility and limits

The supplied screens evidence email templates and insights, social posts and engagement sorting, call analytics and a call-inbox interface. Displayed campaign values are interface content, not verified business results. Corporate mailbox and telephony connections, social publishing, SMS delivery, real-time chat, remote control, visual inspection and interaction-based learning are available only where implemented, integrated, permissioned and enabled for that business. Transcript, call-state, confidence or tone indicators are assistive interface signals, not objective diagnoses of customer emotion or validated satisfaction metrics. Use consented, relevant engagement data, respect suppression/unsubscribe controls and review suggestions before publishing. Provide appropriate notice and obtain required customer consent for recording, transcription, remote access or visual evidence collection. People remain responsible for customer care and vehicle-safety decisions. The term digital employee means a supervised software role, not a conscious person.

Why this matters

The practical change is a clearer path from lead to customer response and completed next step, with people accountable for decisions and digital roles limited to the work they are allowed to do.
