Your cookie choice

Updated 10 October 2026. This notice describes the first-party browser storage used by this website. Essential storage remembers your privacy choice and supports core site functions. Analytics and marketing stay off unless you switch them on. Choose Accept analytics only, Reject optional or Choose settings in the banner; use Cookie settings in the footer to change your choice later.

Essential: the HttpOnly cookie si_consent_choice lets the server restore your saved choice for up to 183 days. The consent manager retrieves the saved choice from the server; it does not store that receipt in local storage.

Analytics: only after you enable analytics, the server may set the first-party HttpOnly cookie si_vid for up to 183 days. The browser uses session storage keys si_sid and si_vid for an analytics session and visitor reference. The site does not create these analytics identifiers before analytics consent. Rejecting or turning analytics off clears the browser session identifiers and prevents further optional analytics events.

Marketing: this preference is recorded separately. No marketing cookie or campaign measurement service is active in this website implementation today; the category will only be used if a relevant service is activated and you have opted in.

Consent receipt: recording your choice also creates a database record. That record stores a hash of the choice ID and, only when analytics is allowed, a hash of the server-issued visitor reference; it does not store your email, IP address or raw visitor reference. The receipt is retained for up to 730 days. This is a server record, not a browser cookie. Consented analytics event, session and journey records expire after 180 days.

About the published Privacy Policy

The published Privacy Policy linked above was last updated on 16 January 2024. Its cookie and analytics wording is broad and has not yet been reconciled with this current inventory, visitor journey signals or any email-gate account-linking process. This Cookie Policy is a separate, dated description of the consent controls. The privacy supplement for other visitor and account processing still requires owner review.
